About Us
|
Mission Statement
Our mission statement is to develop internal procedures and training programs designed to meet our clients' individual needs through expertise and creativity; to ensure their ultimate success and provide a lasting and positive contribution to the community. |
|
Vision Statement
A business founded on trust and respect, built on friendships, and an active source of support to those around us. |
 |
Grassroots Business Development specializes in helping clients maximize their strengths with the use of efficient information systems, pro-active approaches to customer/sales and service and through computer literacy instruction.
|
We offer a holistic approach to business because of the diversity of our experience in retail, construction, and manufacturing, not for profit organizations, associations, and wholesale sectors.
We also offer streamlining methods, efficient information systems, and the benefit of inventory maintenance, accounting, and purchasing expertise.
Helga has several years of experience in purchasing, order entry, office management, inventory management, sales, corporate liaison, and customer service. Her experience as a computer business instructor has taught us how teaching methods have to be designed or changed to accommodate learning styles for different individuals.
The Edmonton Oilers and the Edmonton Eskimos are Helga's two favorite sports teams. We are predicting that the Stanley Cup and Grey Cup will be coming back home to Edmonton in the near future.
There are many worthwhile charities in the City of Champions that are in need of our support. Helga has had the privilege of working with Women Building Futures and has seen how their work has helped women living in low income situations become self sufficient by apprenticeship ready training for the construction industry.
Women Building Futures is still in the process of remodeling the building that was purchased in 2006. As with any charitable society, funds are always hard to come by so any donations that you could make would be greatly appreciated by them and are tax deductible.
Before you toss out your old pillows, blankets, or foods that your pets aren't fond of, think about donating them to the S.P.C.A.
The retail outlets for Goodwill and Salvation Army are a good source of used books at a very reasonable cost and proceeds from sales help individuals in our community.
